Instructor's Manual for Working Safely with Chemicals in the Laboratory

The companion Instructor's Resource Manual includes the following tools:

• Complete MSDSs for the 90 chemicals profiled in the Guide. Each MSDS provides lab instructors with a comprehensive report of each chemical's hazards.

• A Student Acknowledgment Form which can be copied and distributed to lab students for their signature. The form advises students that they are responsible for protecting themselves in the lab and lists important steps they must complete before beginning lab work.

• 12 mini-posters highlighting basic areas of laboratory safety. These posters help reinforce the important safety lessons students are exposed to in the Guide.
